Overview

Fantasy Football is a football simulation based on the weekly statistics of actual NFL players. Team Owners manage their team through the regular season by choosing starting lineups.

Owners

A person becomes a Team Owner when Team Names and Passwords are submitted and assigned to League. An owner will be not be allowed to own more than one team in a league.

Season Structure

  • 15 Regular Season Games
  • 2 Playoff Games

Roster

The Salary Cap for all Salary Cap Leagues is $1100. You must submit a starting line up whose total salary is $1100 or less. Your line up must include the following players:

1 QuarterBack
2 Running Backs
2 Wide Receivers
1 Tight End
1 Kicker
1 Defensive/Special Team

You may choose any player from any NFL team. It is possible for multiple teams to have the same player on their roster.

If a Team Owner submits a lineup that is over the Salary Cap, the most expensive salaried player(s) will be substituted with low-salaried, non-playing   NFL players until the total salary is under the Salary Cap. THIS IS AN EXTREME PENALATY! Make sure your Team is under the Cap.

The cutoff time for submitting your Starting Line Up is prior to the start of the first NFL game for that particular week. That time varies each week. It is your responsibility to determine the cutoff time, and submit your starting lineup before that time. Remember, the Internet can be very unreliable. Do not wait until the last minute to submit your line ups.

Please use the Starting Line Up Form on your League's site to enter your Starting Line Ups.

Standings

Standings are based on a teams Won/Lost record during the regular season. Ties are allowed, and count as one half win and one half loss for the purpose of determining a teams's Won/Lost record.

Playoffs

At the conclusion of the regular Fantasy Football season, all teams will be ranked to determine berths and seeding in the playoffs. In the event of ties, tie breakers will be used as listed below. Four teams will be chosen according to the following criteria:
  1. Division Winners
  2. Other Teams with the best Won/Lost Record
(These can be from the same division)
Tie Breakers

  • Division Won/Lost Record
  • Head to Head Won/Lost Record
  • Non Division Won/Lost Record
  • League Points
  • Division Points
  • Head to Head Points
  • Coin Flip
Playoff Format

Playoffs will coincide with Week 16 and 17 of the regular NFL season.

Playoff Week 1:  The playoff teams are matched so that the Number 4 Seed plays the Number 1 Seed, and the Number 3 Seed plays the Number 2 Seed.

Playoff Week 2:  The winners of each games in Playoff Week 1 play each other for the League Championship.

Playoff Tie Breakers

Unlike the regular season, Playoff games cannot end in a tie. If a Playoff game does end in a tie, the following will be used to declare a winner:
  • Most Total Yards (Rushing + Passing + Receiving)
  • Most Total Touchdowns (Rushing + Passing + Receiving + Defensive/Special Teams)
  • Longest Touchdown
  • Most Field Goals
  • Longest Field Goal
  • Most Safeties
  • Coin Flip
